Proper diagnosis of today's complex and sophisticated engines is imperative and
requires the latest testing equipment.
Our SUN 2500 ENGINE ANALYZER provides state of the art technology and can
accurately diagnose today's fuel injected, distributor less, computer controlled engines.
It generates a "no-nonsense" printout that describes the results of the tests, the
recommended repairs and is presented in a format that is easily understood by the
customer. Our technicians have attended manufacturer sponsored training programs to
learn the operations of this equipment. Therefore, a skilled technician armed with
this kind of detailed report can make accurate and precise repairs.

The constant and growing number of vehicles on the road today and the threat of
reduction in Federal Highway funds due to uncontrolled emissions has prompted our
state to implement a vehicle emissions testing program. The emission test is
designed to gauge the emission level at the tailpipe to determine gross polluters.
This test requires specially designed equipment.
Our SUN SIS EMISSION TESTING COMPUTER is capable of testing the emissions
emitted from a vehicle and transmitting the live test samples to a Department of Public
Safety data base computer. Once the test is completed a print-out is provided to
the customer. McBroom's is recognized by the Department of Public Safety as a "test
and repair" facility. We conduct the emission test and can make the necessary
repairs to reduce the emission level should the vehicle fail the test.
This test will be conducted along with the annual vehicle state inspection for a fee
of $39.50, for both the inspection and the test. The test is quick and is designed
for little inconvenience to the customer. Any vehicle that has received proper
maintenance should have no problem passing this test.

During phase two with the engine idling, the solution passes through the injectors or carburetor
jets and into the engine's combustion chambers. Carbon, gum and varnishes built-up
in these areas are softened and removed, then passed harmlessly out the exhaust.

We offer the latest specialized A/C Service and Repair, including "retrofitting".
This is the conversion from R-12 freon to the new R-134A freon, which is far
more economical than the R-12 that has been used in the past. Please inquire
about this service and we will be glad to provide a detailed description of this
procedure and its benefits to you and the environment.

Note:"All freon is reclaimed and recycled to protect our atmosphere."

of your tires.

We offer complete brake inspections. (There is never a charge for this!)
Anti-lock Brake Systems (ABS) are diagnosed and repaired and we resurface
rotors and drums when needed with our Ammco Brake Lathe. Proper brake
maintenance and service will insure quality control and a "safe stop" on
most road surfaces and in most any weather conditions.

We stock INTERSTATE BATTERIES to fit most any vehicle.

remanufactured units to insure your car will start every time under
any condition.
We gladly work with insurance companies on repair claims for engine fires,
